HOW TO STRETCH PAPER
If you are using 140# paper, please have your paper stretched and dried BEFORE coming to class. Soak 1/2 sheet of Arches #140 paper in tub for 15 minutes. Take out of tub and drip off excess water. Place on a sheet of Gator Board or plywood. Carefully smooth out so the paper is flat. Staple with a staple gun every 2". Let dry at least overnight. Artist tape can be applied over staples. If this seems like a lot of work, just purchase #300 Arches paper. It is heavy enough to not need stretching.
